Nice hotel which unfortunately did not win under the separation of dining facilities and hotel

My stay at Hotel a22 in Riga was pleasant overall, especially due to the very attentive porter service and the consistently friendly staff. The personal treatment of the guests is a clear plus and basically conveys a high-quality service understanding .
However, I am critical of the separation of hotel operation and restaurant or breakfast service .
Since this organizational change, the process seems less coordinated and sometimes bumpy, which has noticeably affected the overall impression.
The stay has lost comfort for me as a result.
Also in the rooms I would expect more details that correspond to a five star hotel - especially hygiene items in the bathroom .
The fact that no room service is offered is a significant disadvantage for me and is personally a decisive factor when choosing a hotel of this category.
Under these circumstances, a new booking would not be an option for me at the moment, which I regret very much , as I basically appreciate the hotel and the staff has left a positive impression.
Overall, a hotel with great potential and a dedicated team whose quality, however, does not really work anymore in my perspective under the current separation of gastronomy and hotel.

Excellent hotel

Recently stayed at the A22 for a city break in Riga. Although a little out of the centre it’s an easy walk, and Bolt taxis are cheap and efficient. The room was large and well appointed, free water and coffee. Excellent bathroom - the shower was superb. The bed was super comfortable. Loved the fact you could open the windows too. We only had breakfast once and it was excellent. Highly recommended

Perfect

Beautiful and great experience, with a lovely restaurant together! Definetly book dinner in advance in their hotel! Its in great area next to many good restaurants
