Relaxed Oasis in the Heart of Oaxaca

Hotel Casa Pereyra is perfectly located in the center of Oaxaca, just a 10-minute walk from the main square, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by an extremely kind and caring staff who made us feel at home throughout our stay. The rooms are fairly basic in style, but they offer all the comfort needed for a pleasant stay.
What truly gives the hotel its charm is the relaxed atmosphere centered around a lovely patio, a peaceful space to unwind after a day in the city.
Breakfast is simple but enjoyable, with a continental buffet complemented each morning by a freshly prepared Mexican specialty from the cook. This daily homemade touch was both tasty and much appreciated.
A charming and friendly place that offers excellent value and a very authentic Oaxaca experience.

Great location, best breakfast

A special hotel in a great location for walking. Room was perfect with a quiet enclosed patio. Staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast was the BEST, and that says a lot because Oaxaca has wonderful food. Highly recommend.

Everything and then some!

Outstanding experience. Behind the simple exterior was a beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Lovely patio areas to sit, think and plan your day. Our room was perfect sized, always well cleaned with a lovely large shower with abundant hot water. Although conveniently situated on a major downtown street, it was quiet and there were no noise disruptions.
Although that was all fabulous, truthfully, many hotels offer these services. What made this such an amazing experience was the staff.
Each morning we were treated to a delicious, filling, authentic Oaxacan breakfast by the wonderful, kind, cook. Dietary restrictions were respected. Something different every day and all yummy! Often our morning meal sustained us till dinner.
The management and their staff was outstanding. They were supportive, helpful, kind, and went the distance. I struggled with a knee problem and a cane was found to help me walk. Advice was given, empathy abounded and I felt really cared about. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We have stayed here many times, and is a favorite place to stay in Oaxaca. The rooms are bright and sunny, the staff is wonderful,. The rooms are always impeccably clean and the lobby is always inviting.
Breakfast is amazing every day with something different, plus fresh fruit, homemade granola and fresh coffee and fresh squeezed juice.
Our kudos goes out to Juan Carlos an excellent host, and always helpful.
We encourage you to experience a wonderful stay with Hotel Casa Pereyra, you will not regret it.
We can't understand how anyone could possibly not love the staff and amenities here . We will be back again.
Oh yes let's not forget complementary Mescal in the lobby every night.

Welcoming and kind vibe with delicious breakfasts

Staying at the Casa Pereyra in Oaxaca was a great holiday experience. The decor of the hotel is tasteful and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The staff is readily available during the day and at night, always ready to answer questions about various tours, help with directions, and order taxis, The kindness of the staff is remarkable. Best of all are the traditional Oaxaca breakfasts . Wow! What a treat.
