Nice rural hotel house with privacy. Friendly owners!
On repeat! After a pleasant stay a few years ago, we booked again at Restinn Andijk. After telephone contact with the very friendly owner Sandra, we were again given house number 6 at our request. There are 6 detached hotel houses, equipped with shower, toilet, senseo, refrigerator, private terrace in front and behind the house. If you like peace and quiet, this is a relaxing destination. It was a shame that it was 30 degrees so it was not pleasant without air conditioning. There is a fan and we brought a large fan from home because we knew it could get very warm under the sloping roof. The delicious breakfast is delivered in the morning in a cool box (stored by the door, complete privacy) with the cargo bike by Sandra. Upon arrival you will receive a form to indicate what you want for breakfast and at what time. It's wonderful to have breakfast with a view of the meadows and cows! There are a lot of insects, but that is logical on a working farm. The houses are in need of renovation, which will happen soon. We will definitely book again in the future!

Not a great value fir money
Restinn is a very quiet hotel tucked behind a cowshed in a small farm. The rooms are very basic but well equipped. The washroom is tiny but clean and the shower has hot water 24/7. Breakfast so served to you room in a cooler and is very nice. The service is friendly and the wifi is strong. The main problem is their pricing, which is very high compared with other similar level hotels in the area.

Surprise
Stayed for just 1 night at this cute little hotel house and truely enjoyed it. Reception by Mrs.van Zanten was very friendly and relaxed. The room contained everything necessary, including comfy chairs, fridge, minibar, coffee and tea making facility etc. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast fresh, varied and plentiful. Easy access to Enkhuizen and Medemblik. All in all a very nice surprise and a lovely stay.

Oh so relaxing
This little chalet is just adorable, spacious and sparkling clean. The owners are really friendly. It is in the middle of nowhere buy that just adds to the charm. The surroundings are relaxing and eating your breakfast in the outside terrace facing the countryside (cows and km of green space) is definitely worth the experience. Definitely worth the money if you're looking to just relax and visit the little villages/cities around.

A quiet night's sleep in a cosy private cabin
RestInn Andijk is family operated and located at a dairy farm in the polder not far from Enkhuizen. You need a car or a bike to reach the establishment. Owners are welcoming and correct.
The Lodge offers individual A-shaped cabins with glass end-walls that at one side look out over the fields and the dyke in the distance. It is a practical guesthouse, very quiet and well maintained. An OK place for a pleasant stay.
Adequately furnished and decorated the surprisingly cosy cabin had two comfortable single beds, table and chairs, fridge, flat screen TV, private terrace with table & chairs, wardrobe in the bathroom door, coffee & tea making facility, all tableware you need and a separate very small private bathroom with toilet, shower cubicle and tiny washbasin. The shower has a half-door and water leaks out. All was impeccably clean.
Doors at both sides of the cabin can be opened and have mosquito screens. No kitchen or microwave. When you decide to dine in your cabin you have to bring a supermarket salad and a bottle of wine, which we did. A complete breakfast is delivered at the door in a box. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and free parking at the property.
At well over € 100 a night the RestInn Lodge is rather overpriced for what it offers. Yet we recommend this B&B accommodation to anyone who seeks a quiet night's sleep in a cosy private cabin.
