Heerlijk verblijf met fijn ontbijtje

Prima kamers (we hadden kamer 2 met dakterras), bedden iets hard maar wel prima. Heerlijk ontbijtje met eitje op bestelling en verse jus. Prachtig gelegen in het pittoreske Bergen; je loopt zo het centrum in (erg leuk dorpje, veel horeca en gezelligheid door het oude monumentale karakter).

Disappointing end to the holiday!

Great stay until we had to leave early because a family member traveling with us was admitted to hospital. Immediately handed over an invoice for the entire stay. Contact was made a few days later to ask politely whether this could possibly be resolved. Not so much getting money back, but for example a voucher to come back again for the remaining night. Unfortunately, they were not open to this. Connection itself was broken. Pity.
Out of panic I accidentally took the key home. Despite everything, we returned it neatly, and we also had to bear the costs ourselves.

Hotel de waag

Great location, 5 min walk from center of Bergen, shops and restaurants.
It is more a family B&B than a Hotel. The room was clean, quiet, cozy but big enough for the 3 of us. Breakfast was hand prepared by the owner and was delicious. Very friendly.
The only thing you may miss is a hall/sitting room to hang out when you don't want to be in your room, but otherwise it is a nice, friendly place.

Hotel de Waag

Central, small hotel in the middle of Makkum. Clean, simple rooms - recently refurbished. The only drawback is the sound of extraction fans outside.

nettes familiengeführtes Hotelchen in bester Lage

Wir waren im August in diesem netten Hotel und sehr angetan von der freundlichen Atmosphäre und dem besonderen Stil. Die Unterkunft liegt perfekt direkt am Zentrum und dennoch ruhig. Das Frühstück war frisch und lecker. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und verfügen über WLAN. Die Wirte sind sehr sympathisch und gastfreundlich. Preis-Leistung sind hervorragend.
