Nice experience

Friendly and warm welcome upon entry. Nice rooms with bathrooms.
Delicious dinner and breakfast. We had to leave early. That was no problem at all to start breakfast earlier. Thanks to the staff! It was a nice experience.

Not good

Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. The quality was not good. It was also not adequately responded to when we lodged a complaint. 35 years ago we celebrated our wedding here and the quality at the time was 100 times better. Very unfortunate this!

Not quite as expected

Last weekend we were allowed to spend 2 nights in the Lords Lodge. We got some mixed feelings from this. The room is a great room and fully equipped. A very nice bathroom with bath (Great room) . Reception was fine and also the staff is very motivated. Owner, on the other hand, doesn't seem to think it's very important if everything goes as desired. Is present daily, until the late hours, but not once shown interest in her guests when there are really only 2 rooms, or, a slightly more personal approach would be welcome we think. Room is located above the terrace and in good weather quite a lot of noise until +/- 01:00. Breakfast is ok, not very special but is also not to be expected with 2 rooms. We also enjoyed dinner once but here we were not impressed. In short, is a nice hotel but for 1x time and then further.
