Nice B&B with its own character

Nice place with great ambiance, Teun and Mike are fine hosts, spacious room with authentic elements, generous bathroom, super breakfast. We also ate there, provenćal chicken and that tasted fine! On the pictures this B&B looks very chic, but you don't have to be put off by that.

Rather disappointing stay

The setup was fun. A mini cottage with 4 rooms ( 2 ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor ) We moved into a room on the 1st floor. The way to the room was quite an undertaking. Jesus what a steep narrow staircase to the room ... Absolutely not suitable for slightly older or less mobile people. The room itself was very very neat but on the very sober side. There wasn't even a coat rack to hang our coat on. Also missing from the bathroom were the traditional nice welcome lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner swimming cap etc. and there was only a hand soap pump with unknown contents (was it shower gel or shampoo or combination ...?). And then breakfast... Very disappointing. There were quite a few guests and then you come to the so-called buffet where there was absolutely no insufficient choice. You could hardly see the egg in the warming bowl (even after extra egg was fried you could hardly see the egg in that bowl) the same for the bacon, the yogurts (there were 3 on the buffet), the mini cookies (there were 3 on a plate that was refilled with haha ...3 cookies at a time when practically everyone had breakfast ... ) ... Too bad that there was saved on the breakfast of 16€pp because after all that determines your signboard. Fortunately, the location was top for us because of an event nearby but not recommended in my opinion. Too bad...

Northeast Polder Tulip Route.

Very quiet and perfectly central for local tourism.
Friendly welcome, good food, nice rooms. Generous breakfast.
2 steps from the sea.
Close to the northeastern polders. Ideal for the tulip route in April/May.

Overpriced hotel, value for money!

Price quality is not okay! No welcome drink, A small room! Very hot! No mosquito nets or air conditioning! So hot! Window open = mosquitoes :(
Small shower, no shampoo oid, but soap..
Good beds, which was a plus..
Furthermore, a good breakfast, nice owner, but much ste expensive..

Great small Inn in Muiderberg near Amsterdam

We stayed here for eight days in April 2023 and used it as a base to cycle in the region. This is a very nice small hotel. Great location in a village. Dead quiet at night. Very attentive personal service from the owner. Room was ample in size with twin beds. Locking bike garage. Very nice and ample breakfast spread. Superb transit connections to Amsterdam. highly recommended.
