I have stayed at The Bilderberg several times in the past and my feeling is that standards have slipped somewhat. I abhor having to check in at a screen instead of being greeted by a friendly receptionist as i have been in the past. Having said that Reception organised a taxi for me into Arnhem. Parking was easy and convenient. Breakfast was good on both mornings of my stay. I had an unfortunate experience on the one night i had dinner. Firstly my perception is that the menu in Julias Kitchen is more restricted than previously which is a disappointment When i fed back that i was unhappy about part of my dinner the response i received was not what i would have expected, ie. i mentioned it to two waitresses but the message seemed not to have been passed on as when i settled my bill with what seemed to be the head waitress she was unaware of my feedback.
Minor point but I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room: it seems to be a standard offering im many hotels of a similar star rating.

Fine.

New Year's Eve package booked. Hotel is big. Food was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Room is fine. Bathroom needs an update though.

Bilderberg feels like coming home

Staying in one of the hotels of the Bilderberg Group is one of our favorites! Last weekend I stayed at Bilderberg Oosterbeek again. The hotel with a distinguished rural feel is located in a beautiful leafy setting; peace and space prevail. Upon entering you will experience the space in new style. Tastefully and practically furnished with items fully adapted to this time. We booked a stay for 2 people based on 2 nights in a junior suite, 2x breakfast and 2x dinner using the hotel facilities. We stayed in a recently renovated very clean junior suite, equipped with a well working air conditioning, an advantage in this summer with temperatures above 30 o ! Suite is also tastefully and very functionally furnished and equipped. Lovely beds! An equally very clean, modern and user-friendly shower room. Double doors to balcony with seating and giving a view of the wide relaxing park landscape! We had a very nice stay in Oosterbeek. Extensive and delicious breakfast with plenty of choices. Dinner at Artusi, the beautifully styled Italian restaurant in the hotel. A party, especially if you like the genuine authentic Italian flavours and atmospheres. Waiting staff very accommodating, serviceable and welcoming. The skilled, enthusiastic, smiling Mitchell in particular impressed us. How he shapes the hostship makes you feel more than welcome as a guest! Thank you to all employees of Bilderberg Oosterbeek for their kindness, enthusiasm and commitment, which allowed us to fully enjoy a wonderful and relaxing weekend. As mentioned Bilderberg does not disappoint and remains one of our favorites!

Very cute hotel in a beautiful area with loads of trees and nature. The historical museum re the 1944 Market Garden history is very close by and was one of the best museums I have seen. There are great restaurants around as well. This hotel is just a quick 15-minute bus ride to Arnhem which is a cute smaller city with loads of great restaurants.
The hotel has a restaurant which has a wonder buffet breakfast that won't disappoint. The restaurant also has service Monday - Saturday in the evening. We stayed on Sunday night so were not able to try out the restaurant's food in the evening. The hotel is wonderfully set up with loads of areas for a nice coffee or drink.
The only thing is the hotel does not have air-conditioning. So, the room was a bit warm even with the fan. We didn't mind but for some people this may be difficult.
