The view from the veranda is amazing

We stayed on the tour. From my room I could see Lake Ohrid and the view from the balcony was amazing. The room was large and comfortable, the food was delicious, and I didn't want to take a shower in a transparent room (?) or rather a shower booth. So there are no four ratings. Considering that it was North Macedonia, it was a very good hotel.

Beautiful balcony with setting sun seated.

Unexpectedly we ended up here and in out of area with 4.3 km from the center that was baleful. Did entertain me just fine on the beautiful balcony and it is not equally quick to walk to the beach because here too quite high. Nice lunch and enjoyed myself before the group came again. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was totally okay for me. Friendly service which is own everywhere.

Stay somewhere else

This hotel claims to be a 4 star property, it’s not. It is several km from the town and is on a hill. It is definitely NOT walking distance to Ohrid town. You have to have your meals at the hotel itself. The room is quite small and despite our asking a twin room, we got a room with 3 beds, eating into the space. The balcony looks out to a stone wall. The AC may or may not work, I am not sure. There are 2 AC units in the room and one is not sure why there are 2 units and if either of them work. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. There are no cups or a kettle. The room is tiny and there is only a single chair for 2 persons. Very disappointing for a hotel that claims 4 or even 5 stars on its website.

Shining on the lake

Location old-fashioned, the reception looks like a poor antique shop, the horrible rooms dirty and dusty, from the bathroom comes a typical smell of rotten water, the towels are identical to the shower mats, empty soap dispenser, the air conditioner positioned at head height, the buffet restaurant of poor standard. What about it? A hotel of horror. Fortunately, we were just passing through for a night... shivering. P.S. Bruno Barbieri would be dead.

Quaint and utterly charming

Quaint and utterly charming aulde worlde hotel in a location some distance from Lake Ohrid, and local facilities.
The entrance, bar area, dining areas, and terraces were full of interesting antiques, giving the hotel a fascinating aura.
Our room was delightful, with a balcony and a view.
Great food, and fabulous breakfast.
