Great for the price!
Firstly - you have to appreciate the price. We paid just £75 for 3 nights stay including breakfast in a double room for 2 people. Thats very cheap indeed.
The Hotel staff were helpful, and pleasant, even considering there were two weddings and a childrens party going on the same weekend.
The hotel grounds were beautifully clean and well kept, and the thatched cabin where the wedding took place was truly beautiful. The food was fantastic, both the sit down meal, and the indoor barbecue. The cost of the food is very low, and the cost of their drinks are very low too.
This is a nice decent, and friendly hotel for less than the price of a Youth Hostel.
Whilst I am giving 5 stars (its impossible not to for the price) there are some small things to consider.
The Hotel isn't close to any amenities without a car or taxi. It is a country side hotel. Some of the decor and fittings are just getting to the stage of needing to be redone, and the wifi and 3G access is slow and patchy. Also none of the rooms are party had have air conditioning. Something to bear in mind in the hot weather (its was over 35 degrees during our stay).
Would we come back? Yes ... absolutely!

Horrific experience
We got to the hotel which is at the end of a dirt track and eventually after them finding our booking, checked us is.
The receptionist very abruptly asked how we felt about 'Brexit' which we felt was a little personal seeing as we'd only been in her company for around hmmm 10 minutes!
We were taken to our room which had a hole on the outside of the door which was covered up with duck tape and painted the colour of the door....on the inside of the door was a foot hole where the door had obviously been kicked in from the inside.
The room was a double room which had two twin beds and the most filthy, disgusting sofa bed I've ever seen .
Needless to say we folded that up and moved it out the way.
After a long travel we wanted to use he facilities and have a hot drink....no kettle/cups/tea/coffee....toilet looked as though it had not been cleaned since plumbed in.
We got there Thursday morning and by Saturday our bin was full and towels needed changing.....we had to ask for this to be done.
My partner and his friend went to the bar on the Friday night, they found human faeces all over the toilet wall...
Also the bar ran out of everything....not a good start considering the rest of our party would be arriving tomorrow. Our friend enquired about the stocking of drink for the Saturday evening when they advised we could not eat or drink in the main bar/restaurant on the Saturday as they had two weddings going on. What the hell we were meant to do with 28 people we didn't know.
The hotel had not advised of two weddings when the booking was made. Huge disappointment. They said if we ordered by 3pm we could eat in a room upstairs...not acceptable.
The weddings went on until about 4.30am on the Sunday morning. With many of us having babies present the noise was horrendous and disrupting.
There was also other guests having their own little parties in their rooms every night with loud thumping music and nothing was done about this.
When it came to the Sunday when we had the main bar/restaurant booked for our event - other guests were allowed to dine in there......I'll leave this one here.
They also ran out of beer and were just serving any old beer to us.
Our friend brought a bottle of vodka from behind the bar early in the evening and was charged 30zl.....the second and third bottle cost 60zl EACH.....again, I'll leave this one here.
Our room was the row short of by the bins....the staff smashed and crashed about with all the rubbish and glass at silly o clock every morning with literally not q concern in the world.
Am really disappointed overall with our stay here. We went out there with lovely friends and family for a wonderful event of a christening and we feel the event was ruined by the sheer lack of everything from the hotel.

Maybe for one night... if you can't find elsewhere
Common areas are good and the outside gardens are beautiful. Wifi signal here is strong.
There may be a language problem with some of the waitresses and receptionists but the menus have an English translation.
At 7zl the beer is expensive by Polish standards but you dont want to wander away from this place in darkness.
The food is acceptable but nothing to write home about. Some Polish staples, such as beetroot soup are missing. As for food, we found the Balaton about half an hour's drive away.
Breakfast was hit and miss. Started well on the first day but things deteriorated. On our third day we were told they ran out of sausages. Seems they did not bother to stock up for the other three days.
Big problem is with the rooms and the housekeeping. Rooms were not made daily, which is strange for a three star hotel. Towels were unchanged, shower gel dispensers were not refilled and bins were not emptied. Some light fittings did not work. By the end of our stay most receptionists knew the meaning of the words 'towel' and 'soap'.
Bottom line is... stay here only if you do not have high expectations and you di not drive a low car.
