Nice hotel, tasty food
The hotel is in a nice mountain environment. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bed good and clean. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning in the room. Restaurant nice, food was tasty. In general, I was satisfied. I would still come back here

Bad situation
Initially quiet and presentable environment but:
Poor hygiene. Change of sheets for 5 days with room cleaning and towel replacement.
Disruptions such as: unloading wood at 5 am good service at the reception of all employees with good knowledge of English.
Very old and uncomfortable furniture.
Possible fleas or other insects from moquette food service staff are not always well disposed, in particular tall lady with long hairs blacks that pretending not to understand wore extras menu 'not gradito

Nice Hotel for Eastslovakia-trip
We were here 2nd time for 2 nights.
Its a nice typical Slovak hotel near Snina in wonderful environment of wood, hiking trails and big nature pool.
From here you are by car in a few minutes at wooden-churches, Nationalpark Poloniny or if you want to visit - Ukraine.
Hotel is clean and all people there are very friendly!
The restaurant VERY GOOD and nice little housepool included in price of cca. 25€ (including breakfast).
If we come again in this region, we will stay again there.

A peaceful place to explore the Poloniny Nat. Park
Hotel Kamei is on the outskirts of Snina, the last large village of Eastern Slovakia. The location is very peaceful, in the middle of the forest, but surrounded by a swimming pond, a pizzeria and the possibility for great walk around.
The rooms are tidy, lighted, clean; bathrooms are fine, service is efficient, though it is not easy to communicate in English; but Russian is widely spoken.
The most interesting experience was the restaurant - a nice terrazza - where the menu is nice and avrated, joining some local recipes with National slovak dishes. All those I tasted were well prepared, tasty and enjoyable. The mushroom soup (not "fresh" mushrooms in the season I went) with smetana was lovely; the sander fillets were very very good and gulash was also good
By my point of view, the most important feature is the fact that Snina is a key place to be used as a base to reach and visit two most astonishing places you might want to visit - though still neglected by Trip Advisors: the Poloniny National Park (a Biosphere Reserve featuring an untouched primeval beech forest across Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine) and the north-east area of Slovakia were lots of century-old wood churches may be found.

Settimana che non rifarei
Inizialmente avevq dato impressione positiva. Poi rimanendo 1 settimana intera e dormendoci siamo rimasti profondamente delusi... soprattutto per gestione e pulizia. Lasciano sulla moquette i ricambi lenzuola...puahh...Anche nel servizio cucina spesso portavano cibi non richiesti e disgustosi. Ore 5 del mattino, nel pieno sonno scaricano legna....Mai piu'...
