In the heart of flamboyant Castile

Small jewel, in a medieval building, with part of the hotel which is in a beautiful building of a more recent style all in briquettes and just next to the main building, a beautiful entrance hall and staircase with a lot of cachet serving the floors; the room gave off a beautiful character and was spacious, overlooking the cathedral square, you would have to spend a few days and not a single night because the center of Burgos is very nice. Breakfast is not bloated but sufficient, by experience this setting would still deserve a more qualitative breakfast offer, there would not be much way to go to achieve it;
When I arrived a receptionist not very smiling but after a few minutes, a person really very professional and helpful.

This is a well managed traditional Spanish hotel with nice individual touches. It is not modern but is well positioned and comfortable.

The staff are super friendly and hospitable. The location and room view is beyond amazing!! Parking is available, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!!

We booked a matrimonial double room with a view of the Cathedral. The room we booked showed pictures of a suite with a double canopy bed with a couch and balcony. The room we got had no couch, no balcony, no canopy bed and an attic window instead.
When we booked the room in March 2026 the cost was around $490 per night. When we arrived other rooms of same quality in same hotel were going for $240 a night. We apparently got slammed with premium pricing by booking early.
We arrived to stay at the hotel around 4pm and it was a hot day and in the lobby the water dispenser for guests was empty. There were minimal amenities as we found no bottled water nor coffee maker in the room when we checked in which was provided by all other hotels we stayed at on our trip. The air conditioning did not cool the room sufficiently.
When we tried to contact the main desk to complain, nobody was available to help us, Other arriving guests were waiting in the lobby to check in but no one was there.
We contacted the hotel about our experience and they have not responded to our concerns. Needless to say we were very dissapointed

Pros: The hotel has an excellent location next to the cathedral; our room was spacious and clean.
Cons: You have to pre coordinate parking directly with the hotel, otherwise their lot is likely full and you have to look for parking elsewhere. Hotel is divided into separate buildings across from the reception, so you may drag your bags there and then have to take them around to a different building. Finally, air conditioning was lack luster at best.
