Beautiful Hotel

We stayed for one night, having been let down by another hotel. Antonio the host was so kind and helpful. The room was fabulous and really interesting. Bed was really comfortable and everything nice and clean.
I will have to return

Character and kindness

This hotel is glorious - so much character, history and good taste. However it was the kindness of Antonio, the owner, that will remain with us. Finding ourselves in a country suddenly in lockdown Antonio couldn't have been kinder with his help and support - even preparing us superb food when we were unable to leave the building. We wish him well and hope people will flock to this wonderful hotel once the current restrictions are lifted.

Charm and personality.

This charming establishment is a really attractive option in Écija. Located in a former bourgeois house, recently transformed in a small hotel, everything has the flavour of the olden times. That´s a positive trait, because unlike many other establishments -where the vintage atmosphere is a modern recreation-, everything is authentic here, thanks to the dedication of the owners who kept many original pieces of furniture and other decor elements. Rooms are particularly big and have high ceilings, dark mahogany furniture, and canopied beds. Vast bathroom with vintage decor and Castebel toiletries. Beautiful patio and nice sitting rooms carefully decorated. Although the hotel is located in a street open to the traffic, that´s not really an issue. You might hear just an ocassional neighbour every now and then and that´s all. By the way, Plaza de España with its big underground car park, is a better option to leave your car. It´s just 200 metres from the hotel. Good rates.

Perdón Antonio por escribir esta reseña tan tarde! Mi tía y yo estuvimos en este hotel en junio de 2020 (a estas alturas tripadvisor no me dejaba seleccionar una fecha anterior a 2022)! Justo cuando empezaron a abrir las fronteras municipales y podíamos empezar a viajar. Desde entonces tengo en la cabeza que tenía que escribir una reseña y tres años después aquí está!
Es un hotel precioso, con mucho encanto y aire local. Me gustan los hoteles así, que hablan del lugar en vez de los de estilo minimalista. Pero, desde luego, lo que más nos gustó fue la atención y el cariño que puso Antonio en que estuviésemos cómodas. En aquellos días de mascarillas e hidrogeles, se aseguró de tomar todas las medidas al coger nuestros DNIs para el check-in y que todo estuviera correcto. Ante un pequeño incidente que tuvimos, tuvo el detalle de compensarnos con una botellita de vinagre de Bodegas de Toro Albalá, de la cual soy fan. El hotel es bonito y cómodo, pero cuando alguien se toma la molestia de hacerte sentir como en casa, es mejor aún.

Un Palacio astigitano de lujo con un gran toque personal en el centro de la ciudad histórica.ñ

Agradecer a Antonio,su gerente,el excelente trato humano y profesional.No es fácil encontrar un Palacio como alojamiento para personas con sensibilidad y exquisitez.
No falta el más mínimo detalle propio del palacio astigitano donde se siente una gran energía y una identificación con la Historia de la floreciente Écija del siglo XVI.
La fachada es sencilla y,sin embargo, tras el umbral de su zaguán con unos azulejos y suelo de gran valor está un maravilloso patio cuadrangular.El salón,la biblioteca,las habitaciones con dosel,las lámparas acristaladas,la capilla,hasta un sinfín de ornamentos decorativos.Se encuentra cerca del Salón o Plaza de España donde hay un parking con descuento para los usuarios de Domus Astigi y así se evita cualquier problema de aparcamiento exterior.Muy recomendable para personas respetuosas,cultas y educadas.
