Good accommodation
The hotel is very good for the price it has. Spacious and clean room.
However, I would make one recommendation: breakfast cannot be served while preventing people from sitting at tables that are said to be set for meals. That undermines the good opinion that the hotel deserves.

Mattress to change
The overall hotel clean and well, although the mattress should be changed I think it is already more than hackneyed is hard and uncomfortable. You should take a little care of the smell coming up from the kitchen down the stairs.
The restaurant dines well and the staff attentive, both the waiters and the reception girl in the morning.

4 Stars with terrible quality.
Customer service Silken hotel chain and Villa de Laguardia hotel.
X-ray of what happened to us on December 14, 2023 at the Hotel Villa de Laguardia (Alava).
After making a reservation, we arrived at the hotel at 2:30 p.m. to eat, there was only another couple (already with dessert) and the two of us. The waitress makes the order we indicated:
1st Croquettes and risotto
2nd Ventresca and roast rib
3º Torrija and coulant and to drink water.
They served us the croquettes and the risotto that was too liquid, it looked like soupy rice, with the typical acid taste of being cooked days ago and reheated. Bland and when the waitress did not appear we had to get up to find her and request the salt.
They take out hake by mistake and the roast rib, they take it away to rectify part of the order. At 15' they take out the belly and the cold rib, returning to the kitchen to reheat it, by the way the waiter left murmuring. After another 15' they bring the rib too dry.
I asked for the director and they told me that he is on vacation, later I asked about him again at reception and they told me that he was on a directors' course. I requested the presence of someone in charge or responsible for the dining room and this time a waiter (it was obviously the change of shift) told us that he was alone. After explaining the complaint and asking for the bill, they charged us for one menu instead of two.
At 4:00 p.m. we had a reservation at the spa for 90' and then a 25' massage and when we left the dining room I asked the receptionist for access and she told us that we had to leave the hotel and go down the ramp. Once in the spa I remembered that we were staying a long time ago and we went down the interior elevator and I actually took the elevator and went up to reception, I said “thank you” to the lady for having sent us outside while it was raining when I could have done it inside.
Regarding the spa, the ladies are very friendly.
I find the service and food in the restaurant in this 4-star hotel incomprehensible when we have stayed many times in Zaragoza at their Reino de Aragón hotel, without having any incident.
I recommend that you give these workers (waiters, cook and receptionist) a good customer service course. In a 4-star hotel, a different type of attention is expected.

Unpleasant restaurant experience
We stayed on 09/23/2023 and the dinner was a steal, a €22 per person menu of grilled meat, they gave us 3 small asparagus, a small piece of pork that fits in the palm of your hand, For dessert, a small torrija, water and harvest wine, the tables next to us had the same menu and everyone with a surprised face, where the grilled meat was, it looked like a skewer. For breakfast they told us €5.5 which included French toast, croissant, orange juice and coffee, the truth is that we laughed when they gave us the small croissant cut in half and about the rest it was better not to comment.

They didn't even let us enter. very bad treatment
A deal that leaves a lot to be desired. We went last Sunday to have something at the cafeteria or the wine bar and they didn't even let us enter. If it is very busy at that time you can politely say, aces. You have to wait so long, but the fact that they are full is not an answer in a place of this level. And if it is only for clients, then it is said from the beginning and then no one bothers. I had idealized this place, and I would have gone to the hotel on a special occasion, but with that treatment they have lost a client.
