Relax, good food in historic building

Ideal place to relax. Attentive and friendly staff. The walls and high ceilings of the old hospital from the 13th century guarantee spacious and quiet spaces. The fine restaurant and breakfast is all a detail, with orange sumo squeezed at once and individually prepared scrambled eggs.

Friendly hotel.

The rooms are large and clean. Average breakfast. Restaurant, the food is very good but the service is unpleasant. The prices are reasonable.

Hostile experience.

The humanity of this hotel ends with its own name: the evident deficiencies you encounter during the experience are compounded by the cold and hostile reception from the staff.
The spa area is simply a caricature: headrests that wobble, clocks that do not work, jets that are half-hearted or dry, etc. And this sad service is accompanied by the staff's support: the bathrobe never arrived, and the initial waiting time was not added.
The rest? It was the most eventful night the Palancia valley remembers since the last Carlist war. Everything, absolutely everything, could be heard inside the room. The neighbors were special guests. That, added to the thermal scorching of the room. A plan without remedy since the air conditioning disguised itself as an aircraft takeoff. Hellish noise to test your patience and kindness. However, all these mishaps could be mitigated with humanity, but they are not. When you communicate this at the front desk in the early morning, it is bothersome. Apologies for another day.
And that said, this is a matter of expectation: a 4-star hotel at 200 euros for one night. There is nothing more. The value for money is also inhumane.

You cannot sleep due to the noise.

The walls are paper-thin: you can hear any conversation from the neighboring rooms with total clarity. At one in the morning, we had to go down to the front desk to complain, and not even an apology was offered.
The rooms on the third floor are very hot, which would not be a problem if the air conditioning did not sound like a car engine, adding even more noise to an already lively night.
The spa is another disaster: headrests ripped off, relaxation areas not functioning, and the timer clock broken. A space that clearly does not receive maintenance.
Disappointing in every way. Terrible value for money. It requires urgent renovation. Not recommended.

VERY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT OFFERS AND MORE THAN FAIR CLEANING

The best of the hotel the building. Room just fine, and that we went to a superior. The unseen parts must also be cleaned, as our four-poster bed and by kicking the structure unintentionally, a ball of fluff of considerable size fell from the top, and behind the bedside tables also full of fluff and dust. The bathroom ventilation zoom full of dust fluff and me with allergy to it. The breakfast is very good. One person for everything. The Spa justito.
