I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is in a very convenient and central location, right across from a large supermarket and only a 2-minute walk from the train station. My room had everything I needed and was very comfortable, especially the air conditioning, which worked extremely well. Breakfast was good and satisfying, and the location made everything very easy. Central Sitges and the beach are only about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Dreadful

A hotel where they don't clean the rooms, you call to say please come up to clean the room because it is full of sunflower seed shells, sand, dirt, and everything is broken... and first they say that is what you can expect from a two-star hotel (and 114 e a night) and then they send me a WhatsApp insulting me for having made a complaint.
And when I say insult, I mean absolutely degrading words. I am saving all the messages to proceed with expanding the complaint.

This example unfortunately illustrates very clearly how few guests are indifferent to other people's property and why every hotel has to renovate its rooms once a year. Incidentally, most readers will probably find the price of just over 55 euros (plus tourist tax) per person, including breakfast, quite attractive for the peak summer season in Sitges in August! But that's a matter of opinion, of course, as it's hard to find anything comparable. But does one really expect a 5-star standard from a booked 2-star guesthouse, or can one live with a compromise in terms of wear and tear if the bed quality is comfortable and the advertised services are provided, such as international television with Apple TV, individually controlled air conditioning and a ceiling fan, blackout curtains, free access to high-speed internet and Pressreader.com for current newspapers and magazines from around the world, a rain shower with bathroom amenities, a generous breakfast buffet with included drinks, free beach equipment, and so on? These services were certainly appreciated, which is why perhaps the issue was the non-refundable special rate, which the guest wanted to cancel without taking out the recommended €5 travel cancellation insurance? Now, not only the hotel but also the esteemed reader is left wondering where the real problem lies...

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was not air conditioned so we had to leave windows open. Streets were pretty loud til late. Price was much better than Barcelona. Close to train station and restaurants. It was really a beautiful town.

Great location, just steps away from the train station, but quiet with an interior courtyard. Friendly, helpful staff. Getting off the train, it's easy to drop off your luggage and explore the town. Coffee maker in the room and a bottle of cold water in the mini-fridge. We had a terrace and relaxed outside overlooking the garden. We had a very nice stay.

He contacted me on 'social' media and then later proceeded to ask me for gifts from a specific shop in Sitges(!) I don't pay for sex. Plus he is clearly deluded as no giggalo. This made for a very difficult stay where I felt most awkward every time I entered and exited the hotel. When I raised this with the manager he seemed to rhink it was my fault (how?!)
Such a shame as I enjoyed my first stay there, but this second time made me feel grubby.

This is the manager speaking, and I never received this information. You know perfectly well that prostitution is not tolerated in any hotel, including ours! These insinuations are disgusting, simply because you may have had a disappointing stay in Sitges. Of course, we don't dictate to our employees how they conduct their private lives, but there are standard rules of conduct for responding politely to requests, regardless of one's sexual orientation. Naturally, it can sometimes be frustrating to receive a rejection – but I suppose that's true for all of us. Sitges is a tolerant and liberal town, which our guests generally know and appreciate. And, of course, Sitges is known for its welcoming culture of all sexual orientations. It's therefore not unusual for people working in Sitges to have active sex lives. But there are rules of conduct for everything, and if you perhaps met the employee privately, you can tell them that you're not interested. There's no shame in that. What is shameful, however, is your criticism. In the 21st century, and especially in Sitges, we should no longer be ashamed of our sexuality.
