Enjoyable visit to this charming parador

A great visit to this lovely Parador at Teruel. Charming grounds with a nice private pool, glassed conservatory eating/bar area plus a lovely restaurant with a good selection of food. Pleasant staff and lovely rooms. Would recommend.

Excellent Parador and professionalism in the service.

It is a quiet Parador, the food is of high quality, the facilities are clean and the service is professional, the pool is well-maintained and the barbecue dinners in the summer are appreciated. A highly recommended option, we return whenever we can.

Love it here, we keep coming back

We always stay here every time we travel to Costa Blanca which is most years. It is our final overnight stop on the road trip down and we always look forward to it. It feels like a bit of home to us.
Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff and they respond well if you at least try a little Spanish. It works well being just off the A23 and it has parking whereas we couldn’t find places to stay in town with off street parking. It’s an easy 25 minute walk into the town centre which requires a bit of a hill but very doable.
The only downside for us is having to wait until 20:30 to eat whether that’s in the bar or restaurant. I understand it is the Spanish way, especially as people seem to still be eating lunch at 16:00, but if you haven’t eaten since breakfast it’s a long time to wait as lunch plus dinner is a stretch too far for us. Even 19:30 opening would be helpful.
Breakfast is buffet style but it is continental. We haven’t seen a hot buffet breakfast on offer here so this time we skipped breakfast.
In our opinion the bar menu offers a much better selection of meals. We both had great meals in the bar. We also ate in the restaurant which was good but for us the preference would be the bar.
We have also learned that most hotels in Spain serve enormous starters, so be warned. The plate of Spanish meats starter in the restaurant would easily feed three people.
The pool area is great and a special mention to Marcus the pool attendant who was so helpful. He is a real asset to the hotel.
Will definitely be back next year.

Totally dispensable.

One of the worst stops in the network, outdated and lacking appeal for accommodation.
The years go by, and it remains the same; nothing changes, you have to apologize for staying here.
You have the feeling of bothering the entire staff, so I do not recommend it.
On the positive side, I will say that the breakfast is very good, and the staff there is very professional.
Relatively close to Teruel, it can be walked down to, although it is not very advisable.
Otherwise, there is plenty of parking space.

NEEDS REMODELING

The passage of time is evident, and it urgently needs an update. The room assigned to us, located on the second floor, was not very large, poorly soundproofed (we could hear "everything" from the neighboring room), with old and somewhat impractical decor. In the bar, we had to insist that they clean the table to remove the remnants from previous customers, as they placed the paper tablecloths over those remnants. The situation is somewhat distant from the city and right next to a national road. The journey from the Parador to Teruel must be made by car.
