Very friendly staff, room good value for money.

Hotel good value for money. Very well-maintained common areas. Classic Spanish breakfast, there is something for everyone. Clean room with automatic air conditioning that cannot be adjusted. It was a little cold at night. Toilet and bidet. No hair dryer. Spacious bathtub. We took a room for 4 people, we had 3 single beds and a 2-person sofa bed. There was a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, microwave, dishes, and a dishwashing kit. What I remember most is the extreme kindness of the staff, at the reception and at breakfast (the lady brought us lactose-free milk). The parking lot is €1 for each entry and exit. It is not monitored and is above ground. There is space.

Ineptitude and a total lack of professionalism

I booked and paid for 19 rooms at the Hotel Alda Sur to celebrate my 70th birthday with 32 friends. Despite having sent all the details in advance, upon arrival two rooms were missing and the staff did not offer any solution. Instead of apologizing, they held me responsible for the error and did not allow me to speak with any manager.
I had to leave my celebration and, even then, no one called me as they promised. Hours later they continued to deny the evidence, even ignoring the pro forma invoice. Finally, two free rooms appeared, but without a single apology.
The manager's subsequent response justified their team and provided inaccurate information. An experience unbecoming of a professional hotel: when faced with an error, it should be resolved quickly and responsibilities should be assumed, not blaming the customer.
For me, on such a special day, it was a shame that the hotel ruined part of my celebration.

Sleeping in Valladolid

In the outskirts of Valladolid, in an industrial area, but the quality-price ratio is worth it. There is a bus 100 meters away that takes you to the city center in 20 minutes. Spacious room and the kitchen is open for almost the entire day

Valladolid Alda Hotels

On the surface, the hotel does not seem to be very old (I am not sure), but in the small details, you can see that the finishing touches were done without much attention to detail.
The standard room is clean and the shower is very spacious, but friends... the mattress is another story. A spring mattress at this point, and feeling the springs in your back, is unacceptable; I believe they should be changed every certain "miles."
The television worked intermittently, the WiFi initially works well, there is parking available, but it is paid; next to the hotel, there is an open area where you can park.
In general, it is a hotel to spend one night and not much more.

Good.

Hotel located in an industrial area, with outdoor parking at 1 euro per night. Outside the city center, it is clean, quiet, with good bedding, a pleasant hotel with fairly large rooms.
