Great experience!

I chose it because it looked interesting and it more than met my expectations. The staff is very friendly. I speak no Swedish and every single person from the front desk people to the bartenders were so kind and helpful. The atmosphere is wild tp say the least. It’s one of the most interesting hotels I have ever been to in all the world.

Interesting hotel with friendly staff

Great concept for a hotel. Every member of staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. Would have liked more light in our bedroom but understand it’s part of the mood vibe. Very interesting building and architecture innovatively developed.
We were with family and they enjoyed the water park ( extra can combine on booking hotel room). Not always sufficient lifeguards on duty particularly to supervise the slides but the water is warm especially for the toddler pool which is great for little ones.
Would recommend if you are wanting something a little bit different. For those who don’t want the water park there is a pool club (extra) but we didn’t visit that.

Sweden's best hotel

Loved Steam! Always so fantastic to come here. Fresh rooms, cozy spa, fine view and great food! They take it to a whole new level here. No fucking Västerås? It doesn't matter, you can spend the whole weekend at the facility with all the entertainment offered!
Must also give a big compliment to the staff who are always so incredibly nice and accommodating, I have never experienced such good service!

unfortunately it was an underwhelming experience. for the price of the stay, the hotel is not offering much, no coffee or tea in the room, toiletries are not offered and are up for purchase, no tissue papers in the room, no complimentary bottles of water. For the price of a stay there, you’d expect all of these to be offered in the room. Also, the hotel is not baby friendly, the room doors close abruptly and loudly, which woke up our child many times every time neighboring guests left/entered their room.
