Lovely hotel
Lovely place to stay, amazing views. the hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy.
The people were so kind and helpful, we spoke no French and they spoke no English, (why should they) but we had some fun communicating and would definitely love to return one day.

Mehr als Gastfreundschaft
Sie sollte via St. Ursanne mit dem Bus hochkommen, im SBB-APP gabs eine Haltestelle „Les Rangier, St. Ursanne“, und ich nahm fälschlicherweise an, diese sei in der Nähe des La Caquerelle. - Weit gefehlt! Hier gibts im Umkreis von 10 km keinen ÖV! - Meine Tochter hätte in Dunkelheit & Regen 2 Std. hochwandern müssen oder in St. Ursanne übernachten.
Als ich meinen „ÖV-Fehler“ den Gastleuten, Fam. Petignat, erklärte, stieg der Wirt, Herr Petignant, einfach ins Auto, fuhr nach St. Ursanne hinunter und holte meine Tochter ab. - Und dies, obwohl es Abend war und das La Caquerelle voller Gäste. - ganz klar, dass ich diese lange Extrafahrt vergüten wollte, doch die Wirtsleute winkten nur ab, dies sei doch selbstverständlich! - ist es sicherlich nicht!!
Das La Caquerelle hat also nebst seiner wunderbaren Lage und dem ausgezeichneten Essen äusserst liebenswürdige und entgegenkommende Wirtsleute zu bieten, so dass ich mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt dort freue!!
