Super friendly hotel with delicious, plant-based cuisine.

Super nice hotel with very creative cuisine. The plant-based offer is very appealing and the meals are rich, versatile and well portioned – you get full;)
The highlight is the dessert showcase with sensational cake, tiramisu etc.
The breakfast buffet is very rich and also lovingly presented.

Excellent meals, original and well served, well cooked, tasty!

We went there on purpose for their vegan menu and were not disappointed!!!
It was excellent!!! And well served and with great interpersonality

Big disappointment

What a shame to serve only vegan dishes in this mythical setting. Huge disappointment at not being able to taste trout with blue or miller or anything else typical Jura! We won't go back!
And I think we won't be the only ones!

Expensive & Nothing Special

We stayed as a Family in the Hotel and booked two rooms for three adults with two little kids. Price 270.- A lot for what you get. Being disappointed with the price the room was clean but other than that nothing special. The owners are a mix of being friendly and the Miss to choose the right words. Also here in Jura c‘est le ton qui fait la musique.
The fish you get is nice but the Restaurant is a very typical Jura Restaurant with lots of plastic chairs, tables and umbrellas sponsored by Rivella.
Overall too expensive for what you get.

Fine for a night's stopover but above average prices

Two of us hiked from Goumois to Soubey. This is the only hotel in the village and I was not sure what to expect as some previous reviews are not very good. However, on seeing the room, I was pleasantly surprised - small but spotlessly clean, quitet & comfortable with a sink. Hotel has a nice terrace & is close to the river Doubs & has adequate parking. We had dinner there & it was good, although quite expensive for what we had.
The room we chose was without ensuite bathroom, there was no TV and no WiFi at all in the hotel. This came at SF 120.- for the night with a simple breakfast. We were quoted SF 150.- for a room with private bathroom. At dinner, even though we ordered wine & coffee with the meal, we were charged SF 1.50 for a jug of tap water,not much, I know, but nevertheless, why do that??
Having lived and travelled in Switzerland for many years, my conclusion is that this hotel is absolutely fine for a night's stopover but definitely overpriced..
