Excellent
The hotel has left a very good impression on us. Rooms are very tidy and clean. The staff is very friendly and as a guest you are well looked after. Breakfast offer is very extensive and has something for everyone. So is the menu.

Be cautious when choosing a hotel/room.
We would like to ask interested parties for this hotel to take a close look at the room descriptions on the website. Some rooms are apparently not listed in the description and presentation. For example, room No. 6 (located directly above the hotel entrance). It is supposedly a "Comfort Double Room." That is how we booked it. However, this room is miles away from that. The only bright spot is the view from the balcony of Lake Constance. Otherwise,
the room cannot convince. The entire furnishings are, one might say, very likely still from the 1980s. The balcony was dirty. There was a missing sunshade and seat cushions for the two chairs. There was also no storage option for luggage or similar items. In the very small bathroom, one must really improvise to get by somewhat. The carpet does not meet the standards of a comfort room. The question at the reception, (where a different person was responsible each day - including the staff from the restaurant), whether this was really a comfort room, was answered affirmatively, and that settled the matter. The possibility of filing a complaint with the appropriate other party (the owner of the hotel) was not available, as he was never present. The accommodation option for e-bikes was also very poor (right next to the hotel's trash bins). Apart from having too few outlets for charging the batteries. Our conclusion: a much too high price for such a room and hotel. Poor comfort overall. The hotel has "aged." We will not be staying in this establishment again.

Unfortunately a big disappointment for us
For a short holiday on Lake Constance, my wife and I chose this hotel.
Even arriving and checking in was difficult.
When we first entered the hotel around 6.30pm, the reception was not occupied, we rang several times, were also noticed by the staff in the adjacent restaurant, but ignored.
After about 10 minutes the waitress, obviously stressed, came to do our "check-in". After completing the essentials and after she had - obviously even more stressed - looked for a parking space in the underground car park, we were allowed to start the search for our room.
Unfortunately, the door lacked the room number, which would have been no problem with an info on this...
Our stay was booked with half board and we communicated directly at reservation that we are both vegetarians. While we received the menu for the evening at the first breakfast, we said this again with the addition that my wife is pregnant. In the evening, however, came a meat starter. The service staff was so stressed that our drinks, which we ordered directly upon arrival at the restaurant, only arrived after the appetizer had finished. The appetizer plates had not yet been cleared, when the main course came. It was a horrible evening with mediocre food throughout.
The next day we explained our experienced evening at the reception, here we were offered directly that we can change from half board to bed and breakfast.
The hotel's own parking space requested in advance was the next problem. The reception staff gave us different information about the parking situation and in the end we had to park in front of the hotel entrance as there was no parking available anymore.
The sum of the impressions described led us to the decision to leave early. At check-out we listed all the points again, the receptionist seemed very shocked and assured us that someone from the management would get back to us in this regard. Now two weeks have passed since our departure and we haven't heard anything from the hotel, but this didn't surprise us much after our stay there was consistently disastrous.
The hotel has a great central location and is only a few minutes walk from Lake Constance. However, we would not recommend it after our holiday experience under any circumstances.

Small friendly hotel quietly located which also has a good restaurant for HP.
The hotel is very quiet and close to the lake. 12 minutes to the station.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our comfort room is large and very clean. It still has a wardrobe with enough hangers for more than a week. Shower toilet new and pleasantly large. Breakfast is adequately stocked with cereal sausage, cheese, nuts, scrambled eggs, bacon, various jams, fruit salad etc. If you want salmon etc, you have to go to the 4 or 5 star hotel.
The underground parking at the house is inexpensive. The garden and lawn quiet. Swimming pool nice and warm.
I cannot comprehend the negative reviews of its predecessors.

Gladly again
Except for the rainy weather, everything fit. Especially the food was great. Ok Showers with proper water pressure was not possible, but maybe the whole house showered at the same time...
