Warning!!! Do not stay at this hotel they will steal your money

We had booked to stay at Mr black for the full moon party on new years when my partner became seriously ill with a leg infection we were told by the hospital to go immediately back to mainland. We told staff the situation and that we would have to leave the next morning on New Year’s Eve. When speaking with Agoda they declined to refund us our two Nights accommodation we didn’t use. This hotel is completely unethical and goes against basic human rights all they care about is your money we spent 30 000 baht on medical bills and were told if we didn’t go back to mainland that day he could have died. We sent photos and medical reports to the hotel but they still denied giving us a refund. After the trauma and stress we have gone through I have never been treated like this by any hotel ever. This “hotel” should not be operating. It’s actually disgusting that they have no compassion or morals. My partner was in a life threatening situation and all they care about is money. Please do not support this place take your money elsewhere.

Naah

Not impressed, the room was not very clean and we had cockroaches..
Good aircon but bad shower.
The staff seemed nice but really hard to communicate with them.
And the beach was TINY, no way you could sunbath down there

Not so nice, at all

Dirty, cockroaches, full of dust and stains on the sheets..
The "beach" is not a beach, the pool is dirty, the staff is really hard to communicate with.
We booked a room for 7 nights, we stayed 1 night and then packed our bags and left, no refund or any thing.
But hey, if you like cockroaches and dirt, take a room and enjoy, if not, STAY AWAY!

Terrible! Stay somewhere else

If I could give zero stars, I would. I typically only like to leave reviews when they are positive, but our group had two rooms and stayed for 3 nights and I wish we could have left and got our money back before we even stayed for one night. We were so disappointed and our rooms were disgusting. Dirty, mold in the bathroom, spiderwebs everywhere, broken toilet seat that had clearly never been cleaned, almost no basic amenities like cups, sufficient toilet paper, or hand soap, VERY rude staff, (especially, what I assume was the owners wife). They’ll charge you unreasonable prices for every little thing. We went to the full-moon party and got a little bit of washable body paint on a towel, which we took responsibility for, but they charged us almost $30US for a basic white towel that could have been cleaned with hot water and little bit of bleach (I even offered to buy it for them for a few baht at the 7/11). It’s a nice location, but they definitely use that to their advantage and give the impression that they don’t have to put any effort in to make their guests feel comfortable or that they got value for what they paid (over $500 for 3 nights). Very overpriced for what you get, and I highly recommend staying somewhere else that cares more about their guests

Money grabbers

Do not ever attempt to hire a moped bike here! We forgot to take pictures before we rented them and got stung for 3000bht for marks that were already on the bike! Staff were very rude, angry and intimidating, such shame that some of the locals just see the tourist as a way to squeeze money out of them!
