Enjoyable stay

A lovely hotel in centre of Glossop
Staff are very helpful and breakfasts really good choice and quality
The rooms are a good size and have all the amenities you need with good size bathroom

A comfy clean room and the Hotel is in a lovely town the drives there and back , The young guy behind the bar on the Monday night was great did check in served the bar and cooked great pizzas (Only pizza was on the menu as the kitchen was closed) but he did a great job (sorry should have got his name) the Tuesday night there was no food including Pizza which was a bit of a let down so I had to eat elsewhere.

The car park out front is tiny and open to shoppers so couldn't park without moving the outside tables to make space, check in took 30 mins and they asked to see my driving licience, never been asked that before in all the hotels I've stayed at, room was dirty and visable crumbs all over the floor, didn't mention it as when I booked I was told it was the last room available, didnt risk eating there so popped over to subway, 100% wont be going back there

Lovely Accommodation and staff - the bell opposite needs turning off at night

I stay at the Norfolk very regularly on business. The staff are super friendly, the accommodation is very comfortable with a decent sized bathroom and powerful shower (mine is usually an over bath shower - not sure if there are any walk in showers), the food is great and they really can't do enough for you.
However (and this is in no way The Norfolk's fault) you should be aware that if you are a light sleeper you will be getting you sleep in 59 minute increments due to the ridiculous bell on the market hall opposite which tolls on the hour every hour, all night long. Heaven knows why, but for a light sleeper like myself - and there not being an alternative further away - this means very disturbed sleep.

Lovely room with large bed and a high single bed. Single bed was on a slope so not great.
Biggest downside was the very loud music from downstairs which went on until after 11.
Other than that nice pub, would stay again.
