Very good food in pleasant surroundings.

We came with friends who were staying in the area and had a very good lunch. they were impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant, the excellent service and very good food. The vegetarian Thai curry was extremely good and I am assured that the pie and salmon dishes were good also. We would definitely return here.

Great stay at The Anglers Arms, staff outstanding.

Great 3 night stay at The Anglers Arms, Weldon Bridge. We stayed on the second floor in a double room en suite, we used the Anglers as a base for walking ( St Oswalds Way ) and visiting Alnwick and Almouth, we also walked to Longframlington on a couple of occasions. We stayed B&B , breakfast was great, great selection on offer, we also had two evening meals which were excellent. Special mention to the staff, provided outstanding hospitality to us during our stay. Definitely recommend The Anglers Arms.

Still Great but Needing Refresh and Maintenance

We've stayed before and have always enjoyed it here. However, we are beginning to notice that the hotel and self catering cottage could do with a refresh as starting to look a bit jaded. Apart from that the food and service is first class.

Great stay just off A1 but in a quiet location on St Oswalds Way

Near to Morpeth Market Town, Alnwick and Wallington N.T. So great location. Room was even better than expected, food and bar also great and the staff could not have been more helpful.

Superb location and venue. Delightful pub with top cask ale and the food was sublime. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were highly friendly and attentive. The only negative was the electric shower which was very temperamental and low pressure. A real treat though overall.
