Gorgeous setting

Currently staying here for 4 nights and really enjoying it- the setting is gorgeous. Super dog friendly and lovely clean modern interiors. The team here have been absolutely brilliant, friendly, welcoming and super approachable. Food portions are huge and the food is excellent quality and beautifully presented. What I also like is you can request to have your room serviced, which seems incredibly sensible, I don’t feel I need daily cleaning services and it’s actually been lovely to be able to relax and read, and not be expecting a knock at the door. Honestly don’t hesitate to book - particularly if you are travelling with dogs.

Arrived evening for pre flight stay cos leaving early in morning
Bar was closing at 10 and food at 8
After check in we had 15 mins to order food ,only bar menu available at that time
Food was terrible, did tell man in charge as feed back , he did refund us but we refused to accept it as we did as to improve not get a free meal
Won’t stay again

We had a lovely stay at the Sidcot Arms. Worth mentioning it’s essentially a Premier Inn - nothing wrong with that but if you’re looking for something with more character it might not be the best choice. Very friendly and helpful staff.

No lift but not the end of the world, just difficult with suitcases and a toddler. Food was average, roast dinner was all frozen veg nothing amazing and was £18. Trying to be posh but wasn't. Room was good and quiet overnight.

Back to UK trip

Excellent location for visiting family in Churchill and for Bristol Airport. Friendly, warm atmosphere, great food in resto, staff excellent especially Gemma, Mez and Natalia who worked like troopers with smiling faces and energy despite the heatwave!! Rooms air-conditioned which was very welcome when 32 outside at 8pm! Highly recommend and will stay again!!
