Pleasantly Surprised
My friend and I were passing through town and just needed a clean quiet yet inexpensive place to sleep. This place was perfect! Our room was recently updated and very clean. The person checking us in was friendly and offered restaurant suggestions. (The Log Cabin was great!) My only wish was that the pillows were fluffier. Otherwise a great little retro motel.

DO NOT STAY HERE
It was not clean. Toilet was leaking. Red splatter stains on the walls. Burn holes in the blankets. Do not stay here. We left a night early because of how bad the room was. It was cheap, but not worth it.

Not great
Towels were stained. No room service. Had to go and get replacement towels and desk clerk was surly about it. Smoke detector was disconnected and lying on tv stand. Floor was clean but needed sweeping. Nice shower head. Appears that they have been doing some painting and repairs.

Do not book!!!
Do not book this hotel… We secured our reservation back in February and they called us a week before our reservation and told us that they would no longer honor the price because we got too good of a deal and that they needed to collect an additional $300 or they would be canceling our stay… We canceled our stay instead and went elsewhere!!

Beware!! Charging by mistake and will not return your money!!
BEWARE!! I'll give a negative star if possible! Thunderbird charged me even though I cancelled my booking within the cancellation period. I called a few times and told them what happened and spoke with different people every time who tells me the same thing, that they will inform the manager and just wait for a call back but nobody ever called me back... I guess this hotel intentionally just don't want to return my money back even though they are aware that they charged me by mistake so beware!
