Sherry was super nice checking us in. The hotel was across the street.from the beach. It was a 16 min walk to Haystack Rock on the beach. Loved it.

Beware of room 107
We booked a Two Queen Studio because we were promised an ocean view. Here is the description from their website.
Two Queen Studio
Relax in a beautiful ocean-view room featuring two cozy queen beds, perfect for families or friends. Every Two Queen Studio includes a warm gas fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker to make you feel right at home. Your dog is welcome too in this pet-friendly room.
When we arrived, we were told that our room 107 was on the first floor and had a partial ocean view. The “view” consisted of a busy road 15 feet from our window and beyond that a large parking lot. If you strained, you could glimpse the ocean (see picture). When we complained, we were dismissively told that the web site specified that only the upper floors had unobstructed views of the ocean and it was up to us to specify that we wanted an upper floor. But as you see, the description of this room does NOT say only upper floors have the ocean view.
The noise in room 107 made it hard to sleep. Noises from the room above us. And we heard the clomping steps when ever anyone used the wooden steps next to us.
The $20 reduction in room rate does not make up for the terrible room.

We’re so sorry the view wasn’t what you expected. After reviewing the photos and description on our website, we can see how there could have been some confusion. The photos show views from both the first and second floors, but our description doesn’t clearly explain the difference. We’ll be updating the wording to make that clearer for future guests.

Wonderful stay close to the ocean.
Sherry from the very beginning to the end was such a kind, friendly soul. Helped us make our reservation and worried about us as we were so delayed due to a cancelled flight. Told us how to check in on Sunday in the very early morning hours. Fireplace in the room so lovely - balcony where we could see the ocean perfect. Even more perfect were the elk right out from our balcony. And the gazillion bunnies running everywhere ! Easy walk across the parking lot to the beach and tide pools and some smaller rocks. About a mile walk to Haystack so we drove. There is a wonderful market and pub adjacent and a coffee shop a short walk away. Don’t forget to try some saltwater taffy in the lobby. It will make you want to buy more in town!

Small bathroom, has everything you need. Oceanview rooms have a very limited view. Close to beach.
