The amenities and the services at Cheshire Welcome were excellent. I was impressed with how well maintained the room and the fixtures were, since they were a little old-school. My little inexpensive room had everything. I was able to check-in quickly at 2am by just pressing a doorbell at the office. I was able to park near my room. When I left, the clerk checked me out by simply letting me hand him my key card without going back in the office.

No respect for loyal customers!

Never book a stay at this place! I had stayed here multiple times prior to 2026 with no problems. In May 2026 the hotel canceled my reservation with not explanation three days before our trip. I decided to give them a second chance and in August 2026 booked on a Sunday for a trip in September and accidentely chose CONFIRM and booked the wrong month. I instantly canceled the reservation (1 minute) and they charged me $122 cancelation fee. Phoned the place and they would not budge.

Check in was easy and effortless! Room was spotless and bed very comfy. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Plenty of parking.
We will def be back when we take our next trip!

Just stayed the night passing through on a roadtrip, property was dated, front desk was rude on checkin when I arrived late. Room was clean enough.

Motel staff seemed to want to overcharge customers

The front desk called me to see if I was still planning on coming. I said I would be right over. I checked in and they said I would get my receipt at check out. The lobby was locked tight on check out day. Other family members (one who understands Hindi) said the woman in the background said they should be charging everyone an extra fee for checking in early. I get that, but to me, it seemed that since they never took my information that they were going to give my room away. I checked in 1 hour early and the room wasn't ready. My credit card was charged $253 for a room (single) that the rate was $96 per night (2 night stay). Disappointed in the place as I stayed here before. My family will not be staying there again.
