Pleasent stay
Housing was great, the room was impecable, everything really clean and the bed was so confortable. Last, everyone treated us very well

Excellent
Nice last minute hotel, great area right next to train. Very clean and nice, beds comfortable as well. Really surprised with this place.

Great experience
We had a one-night stay at Iris Hotel in Boston, and found the entire experience excellent: quick and very pleasant & helpful check-in, clean room, quiet hallways. Our check-out was also very quick and pleasant. We noticed several other families staying at the hotel, which gave it a very cheerful and still calm feeling.

Very disappointed.
Before booking, I specifically asked twice whether it would be a problem if we needed to extend our stay by an additional night later. I explained that we were traveling for our son's surgery and needed flexibility depending on how everything went. I was repeatedly assured that it would be "no problem."
During check-in, I brought it up several more times because I wanted to be absolutely certain. Both the staff and the manager reassured us again that extending our stay would not be an issue and told us not to worry.
The morning after our son's surgery, we went to extend our reservation only to be told they were fully booked and could not accommodate us. There was a Boston Red Sox game that day, and every hotel in the city was booked as well, leaving us with nowhere to stay while our son was recovering.
What was most disappointing was the lack of empathy. When we explained that we had relied on the repeated assurances we were given before booking and at check-in, the manager simply responded that they "didn't know." Given that they are local and were aware of the Red Sox schedule, it's difficult to understand why we were repeatedly promised something they couldn't guarantee.
Had we been told upfront that extending our stay might not be possible, we would have booked the additional night from the beginning or made other arrangements. Instead, we relied on the hotel's repeated assurances and were left in a very stressful situation during an already difficult time for our family.
I understand that hotels can sell out, but don't promise guests something you can't guarantee—especially when they're staying because of a child's surgery.

Nice hotel
Enjoyed our stay at the Iris during our World Cup tour.
Service on arrival was excellent from reception and rooms clean, quiet, cool and roomy.
Couple of bits the hotel could improve, breakfast service was hit and miss, and the bar wasn’t up to much, no clients, uninformative service .. ie not knowing much about the beers / lagers they served.
That said we liked the hotel, close to tram into Boston and some other bars and eateries
