What an amazing place to stay! The building itself is what makes this hotel so special. We loved learning that it was once an old button factory that has been beautifully restored and transformed into a hotel while preserving so much of its original character. The blend of historic charm and modern comfort made for such a unique experience.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. If you’re looking for something different from your typical hotel, this is definitely the place to stay. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Concept, Subpar Execution

The hotel's concept is fantastic, and it looks super cool (and pristine). The execution, however, leaves quite a bit to be desired. The Millennial desk attendant who checked us in was friendly enough, but not overly concerned when we told him that within an hour of our arrival, another random guest entered our room. They had misread their room number, and their key worked on our lock! Although he seemed mystified about the situation and offered to move us to another room, he did not act apologetic. We never could get the Wi-Fi to work in our room; we had to hang out in the lounge chairs by the elevator, whenever we needed to log in (again, his explanation was simply that the Wi-Fi was spotty). That's an expectation in any hotel nowadays. Despite having brick walls between rooms, we could ALMOST make out normal conversations next door; and when our neighbor, who clearly suffered from severe respiratory issues every night, coughed so hard that he had to run to the bathroom to vomit 7-9 times per hour, we heard all of it...not to mention the repeated toilet flushes, as the pipes were located directly above our bed. Needless to say, I didn't check out in the best mood. Having said that, the location was wonderful, and even parking down the street wasn't a terrible inconvenience (in good weather, which we had). The entire place was spotless, and it had a really neat vibe; it just didn't live up to our expectations. I would also recommend that the staff receive more training on actually making guests feel welcome, rather than acting like we're interrupting their phone scrolling every time we approach the desk.

Wonderful addition to our Bourbon Trail trip, only thing to consider if you have trouble walking up a steep hill look elsewhere. The hill to get into the hotel is something and you have to park at the bottom and walk up

Would be top rate except Wi-Fi was not available throughout my stay. The front desk person was aware and said it had been problematic recently.
Really, Wi-Fi is a basic function of the hotel. To not have it at all was a big downer for me about my stay.
Love the decor and feel of the hotel. Great location also in Frankfort.

Lovely boutique hotel. I've stayed there several times and always had a good experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and up to date.
