Easy check in.... courteous and helpful staff...clean room and comfortable bed...great shower!

Okay hotel, but not stellar

Positives:
1) First floor room was quiet
2) Quiet hotel overall in early June, not many parked in parking lot
3) Daily room service without having to ask - room always neatened up and fresh towels
4) Beds very comfortable
5) No carpeting and flooring looked newer
6) Working fridge and microwave
7) Staff was pleasant
8) Air conditioner worked well and had option for fan to be always on (which we like to use to help block out any outside noise)
Negatives:
1) Stand up shower looked dated and bottom of shower was old and kind of yucky looking. Needs an upgrade. (But water pressure excellent)
2) Flecks of paint on flooring in bathroom, made it look dirty even though I don't think it was. Overall condition of bathroom needs improvement.
3) Sink is outside of bathroom. Not a big deal if you're traveling alone, but with kids/family it makes it hard to use sink area without interrupting young sleepers.
4) Breakfast free but options minimal.
5) Room size was too small
6) Appeared to be laundry available, but my key wouldn't unlock door. I never went to ask about it, but laundry wasn't easily available at the time of my stay.
Overall, this hotel was okay, but not stellar. I will look at other options if I need to stay in Lavonia again. That being said, I would stay at this hotel again if needed.

Nice hotel! It accommodated our needs for our weekend getaway. Close to a lot of restaurants and gas stations. It was very quiet and the beds were super comfortable. When booking a reservation, please be aware there is $100 cash deposit that is refundable at the end of your stay. We would stay here again.

We started out our stay with a giant centipede walking across the floor to greet us. Then another couple up the hall stayed slamming door and arguing. Then the air-conditioning unit that was about 6 inches from the bed kept turning on and off and waking me every time the cold air would hit my back. Not a pleasant night !

Worst experience ever. The room was beyond dirty, the bathroom without words to explain how it was.
