Anniversary getaway
Perfect getaway!!! This was our anniversary trip and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the cabin “Hook”. Waking up early in the morning to deer that you could feed right off the back porch. Super sweet staff and Nolan was our safari tour guide. He was so informative. Did an excellent job. Blue Hill Ranch is a must go.

Birthday trip
Me and my husband flew from Indiana for my 50th birthday to visit Blue Hills Ranch. Let me say it was one of the most memorable trips we have had. Loved every animal, worker, and moment! Special shout out to the chef Allen for the phenomenal meals we had, Bobbi Jo for showing us around and making us feel so comfortable, and otter mom Anne we just loved you! We will definitely be back in the near future hopefully with our grandkids!

Human kindness and Animal acceptance
Celebrating my sister’s birthday along with my husband, we stayed in the Capybara cabin. It had a Murphy bed and king bed. Such a pretty and relaxing space. The location is amazing. As you are driving to the ranch, suddenly you see what looks to be a Zebra on a hill. Then a Giraffe! Then a Camel! By the time you see kangaroos you become so excited you can barely sit still. Greetings from the majestic Giraffes told us we picked the perfect vacation to celebrate my sister. We loved all of the activities especially the safari. Everyone at the ranch love these animals and it shows through their gentle care of them. The staff waves at you everywhere you go and answers your questions about all of the animals you are interacting with on the ranch. Matt, we saw your love of animals, compassion for the people in your care including us. We listened to the sweet Jerusalem Donkeys braying as they came to the cabin for treats. Chef is an amazing creator of delicious food with Texas flair of hospitality. This destination gave each of us what we needed.

Magical weekend!
We arrived to the welcome barn with the red roof on Saturday afternoon. From the time we arrived, we were graciously shown around the area and settled in our villa. We chose the giraffe villa and it did not disappoint. The views were breathtaking and giraffes coming right up to your porch was an amazing experience. All of the guides we had were absolutely accommodating to any and very knowledgeable about their area expertise. The giraffe villa was a beautiful house with modern appointments a full kitchen allowed us to cook and chat as we wanted. We appreciated the bedroomson the first floor and the eating area on the second floor. The two wraparound porches on first and second floor gave us incredible views of the property. We would 100% recommend this experience to anyone who loves animals and wants a little time with nature.

Awesome Experience!
Our two‑day stay at Blue Hills Ranch was absolutely unforgettable. The entire experience felt magical, from the incredible variety of animals to the once‑in‑a‑lifetime otter swim, which we absolutely loved. Every moment felt unique and special.
Chef Allen Lewis was exceptional — every meal he prepared was truly 5‑star quality. You can tell he puts passion into every dish, and it elevated the whole trip.
The staff was amazing as well. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and clearly loved what they do. Their energy made the ranch feel warm and inviting.
We stayed in the Capybara Cabin, and it was perfect — beautifully decorated, spotless, and absolutely 5‑star in comfort and style.
Blue Hills Ranch is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. We can’t recommend it highly enough.
