Exceptionally clean and safe hotel in Wilmington

This hotel was an absolute jam. It’s located near a shopping center with lots of walkable, restaurants, and easy access to many things in Wilmington. From the moment I arrived the staff was incredibly friendly, and the hotel itself had the highest sanitation reading I had seen during my time in North Carolina (100%). A hotel truly was exceptionally clean and tidy. The ladies working in the breakfast room cooking a fresh breakfast to order every day right in front of . The other selection available for breakfast was also great and included things like a yogurt, bar with granola and fresh fruit, baked goods, and a toast or bagel bar. Everyone working the front desk was really kind, and even when I asked to borrow a pair of scissors to clip a tag they were more than happy to help. I would highly recommend this next time you need to stay somewhere in the Wilmington area. I was there for five nights and enjoy the experience.

Element of Surprise

This was the very first stay at an Element property. I will have to say they did it right. Checking in was a breeze. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. Special recognition goes out to Ty. He gave a rundown of the hotel and restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious. The AC was really good. The bed was beyond comfortable. Only had one night here but it was very relaxing. The breakfast is basically cook to order at no additional cost. With that being said you may run into a line if you are there on a very busy day. There were several different items to just grab for a quick breakfast. The front desk provided me with additional towels and wash clothes without hesitation. By the way it is located in a great area. Now there are a couple things I would recommend 1. Hand held shower head. 2. Apply a little more pressure for the shower. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will make sure I stay here when I make my next trip to Wilmington.

AWFUL STAFF - AVOID

My mother and I checked in and went out to dinner. When we returned to the hotel at 10:30 p.m., there was water actively dripping from the ceiling fan in the bathroom above the toilet and all over the floor. We contacted the front desk, and the agent told us that there was no maintenance at night and the hotel was fully booked (which turned out to be a lie - we contacted the Marriott Bonvoy 1-888 number and also looked at the web site - rooms were available). The person at the front desk was rude, unhelpful and indifferent, so we left at 11 p.m. to go to another hotel nearby. As we were about to leave, she came to the room and said, "Another guest has offered you their room." An absolutely absurd statement.
I wrote to Marriott and directly to the hotel manager and didn't hear back from either. Inexcusable. Stay elsewhere.

The staff at this hotel were phenomenal - right down to the breakfast cooks, who added blueberry pancakes (with fresh blueberries) to the eggs and sausage menu. The man at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. There was a large decanter of fruti-infused water at all hours in the lobby. The pool was great. I just really wished they had a hot tub. No hotel should be without one! The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Sharon at the front desk was amazing! Very warm welcome and ensured our family had everything to have a successful stay.
