The entire city center is within walking distance.

Hotel in an old historic house, will not surprise, will not offend. Considering the prices in Switzerland, it is rather a cheaper standard. Free local transport card included. Discounted parking nearby in an underground garage (99 CHF for 4 days). Above all, it is necessary to appreciate the very pleasant service at breakfast (Darja). Thank you!

You can't count on breakfast

The hotel has an excellent location, which makes travel a lot easier. However, the structure leaves little to be desired, especially as regards the heating of the room, which is insufficient and compromises the comfort of the stay.
Another quite negative point is the breakfast schedule, served only from 8:00. For those travelling for tourism or work, it is common to leave early to fulfill commitments or better enjoy the day. During my business trip, I was unable to have breakfast at the hotel for none of the days. The same happened when I was tourist in Rome, which generated disruptions and reduced the cost-benefit of accommodation.

Poor operation

I found the restaurant service borderline. The ordered coffee came cold after a long wait. Instead of an apology, excuses and disrespectful behavior. Sorry, you don't go there.

I recommend this hotel

Very dissatisfied with the reception staff, unsympathetic during the stay, then I unfortunately forgot my toiletry bag, I sent 4 emails, called about 8x. No reply to the email or I was offering a shipment by paying the related fees. On the phone, told me several times that they had sent it, to date nothing received, I asked for proof of the shipment and to date nothing either. This service is scandalous given the prices charged by Swiss hotels.

Very ugly.

Reception made with a folding shelf behind the bar counter, no elevator (it was not written anywhere when booking) with 4 floors of spiral staircase, old rooms, not air-conditioned (their excuse is that it is a vintage building...then Venice?) and I fly over that of our friends who was in the attic at 34 ° and worse than ours. Poor cleaning we saw spare towels inside Ikea bags on the ground on the stairs.
Breakfast not completely buffet style, after a while we were able to make ourselves understood with the translator in Turkish and they brought us a tray with zucchini cheese tomatoes and one of desserts (Easter dove and empty croissant), all served outside with many bees spinning on the table. Communication with the non-existent structure, they never responded to our emails and even on site only one of the staff spoke English the rest in Turkish.
Very negative experience not to be recommended.
