Trip to Belgium

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Belgium. Hotel was simple but well maintained. We were pleasantly greeted by Aleksandra. The room has Ac which is nice since it was quite warm. It would be nice to have a fridge. Great location as it was close to the main square.

Hotel in the centre

Hotel in a convenient location to walk to the city center.
The rooms are small and not very recent, the sockets near the bed did not work, the TV was not Smart.
Small bathroom and not very well cared for. The general cleanliness of the room leaves something to be desired.
Definitely not indicated if you want to spend time in the room and relax
Value for money not great.

Stayed one night at the hotel. Location was good, only a short walk from the centre of the city and lots of eateries and bars nearby. The hotel is fine but a bit dated. Room was clean with a large comfy double bed and a decent shower.
Downside was that there were no hotel parking places when we arrived after lunch - not a major problem as there was a public car park just around the corner. Also we were charged €20 to store our 2 bikes in a room, which I feel is a bit steep.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Bad hotel, bad customer service

I made a reservation months in advance and today when I arrive at the hotel, they assign me one of the only two rooms without air conditioning in the entire hotel and there is no way to fix it (because the girl at the front desk already knew beforehand that it didn't work when I went to ask the front desk to check it), she literally tells me: yes, that room and another one don't have air conditioning, and there is also no option to change my room because they are “full”.
When checking in, they knew it wasn't working and didn't say anything, nor did they even make any effort to check or fix it. No one at the front desk showed any willingness to fix the error or make amends. That "if I wanted," they could get a floor fan.
I didn't make a reservation so far in advance to be hot or use a room I didn't pay for.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

Friendly staff, a little bit old but cosy

Bed was comfy, room simple and a little bit old, but roomie and nice. Would have liked a small refrigerator. It was a little bit noisy between the rooms though. Nice with air con. Really friendly staff!
