A bed and breakfast ideally located with premium hospitality!!

We had a great 3-night stay with Nathalie and Marco, whom we thank warmly for their sound advice! The house is very charming and the location is ideal for visiting the neighborhood and the surrounding ones. Breakfast is prepared every morning with quality food. Nathalie and Marco are very attentive! We highly recommend it!!!

A home from home!

We had the most wonderful time staying with Natalie and Marco in February this year. Better hosts you cannot find, their hospitality and helpfulness made our stay very special. We're probably not the only ones but we've got to mention the breakfast, it was so amazing and really an experience compared to what you normally get elsewhere. All in all it really felt like home to stay at Pousada Esmeralda, you will not regret it!

2nd stay January 2026

Having kept a good memory of a first stay in 2019 , we just made a stop at Nathalie and Marco. The welcome is always so friendly. Pousada close to the pelourinho and the historic center. Excellent and hearty breakfast and hosts always ready to help.

Great stay in Salvador

Marco and Nathalie are great hosts, the building nice and spacious,comunication was easy, Marco suggested and bought for us the tickets for Bale Folkloristico which was a great bonus! Rooms are large, the area is safe and quiet and great to access Pelourinho. As already mentioned bu other guests, breakfast was the best in the 3 weeks trip we had, as was a mix of Brasil and Europe: I will miss it for sure.
Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality , hope to go back!
