Stayed in a superior room with king bed for four nights in early August 2026. Communication in advance was responsive and clear. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. I appreciated the small sunken living room to spread out. Either the ceiling is thin or the upstairs guests loved stomping because we heard every step. Morning continental breakfast was very good, though some additional fresh fruit would be appreciated. (So was the umbrella in the closet which was used several times!) Location was good, and we ended up using the alley access to come and go rather than going upstairs and back down through the hotel. It's just a couple blocks to the main street with restaurants and shops, and about 10-15 minutes to the Dufferin Terrace or steps to the lower town. Housekeeping was every other day, but the uncarpeted floors do need better sweeping/vacuuming. The desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially with tips on a ride to the airport. Overall a very positive experience!

Great location and Great staff
Very nice hotel with a very attentive and polite staff- the location is perfect to get around Old Quebec City…never took the car out for the 3 days we were there.

Not the luxury of the photograph.
Excellent location but definitely not 5 star. We were there 5 nights and the housekeeping was almost non-existent. We had three rooms and the largest and most expensive was never cleaned until we made a great fuss the last day. Greal location but nothing special about the rooms. No elevator. Friendly front desk and breakfast staff but shrugs when we complained about the lack of housekeeping. Frankly I expected much better for the very large bill I paid.

It is on us to proactively reach out and ask whether you would like a refresh rather than simply move on in case of a DND sign. We did not do that, and we are sorry. We offer a full room refresh every other day, and we are always happy to arrange additional service at any time upon request. Your experience does not reflect the standard we hold ourselves to and it has been addressed with our team directly.
Your stay represented a meaningful investment, and you deserved far better communication from us throughout. We hope you will give us the chance to show you the difference.

A charming hotel in a charming city
This was our fourth visit and we will be back - without a doubt.
It is a very confortable boutique hotel, in a great location with friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed - every room has it’s own character which makes it interesting. It is always a happy surprise when we first step in the room.
Québec city has so much to offer and if you need an extra reason to visit, then no need to look further.

Anniversary trip
We had a wonderful time here in July 26 for our anniversary weekend. The hotel is in great walking distance to all of Old Quebec City. Super friendly staff! Very comfortable beds. French breakfast in the morning, they have hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants, and crepes. There is no elevator so be prepared to walk lots of stairs, but much of the city is stairs and hills. If you’re okay with walking it’s no problem. Overall a wonderful stay!
