Hostel Izvor

During my stay at Hostel Izvor in Podgorica, I found it to be a wonderful blend of tranquility and hospitality. The hostel is located about 6 kilometers from the city center, nestled near the Moraca river canyon, which offers stunning natural surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere far from city noise.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and air-conditioned, with comfortable beds that made for a restful night.
There are several tables set up where guests can relax, enjoy their meals, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings. The setting is quiet and scenic, with views of the nearby Moraca river canyon and lush greenery, making it a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening conversations.
Nikola is a fantastic host; I reached out to him multiple times via text and phone with various questions, and he consistently responded almost instantly with great advises and suggestions and help.
He also helped me assisting with taxi bookings and making sure my stay was comfortable. Their hospitality truly made the difference and created a welcoming environment.
Nikola generously gave me access to the kitchen as well to do a quick snack.
The river is just a short walk of under 10 minutes away. I really loved visiting the blue crystal-clear river nearly every day during my stay.
In summary, my stay at Hostel Izvor was very enjoyable comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a beautiful setting made it a memorable part of my Montenegro trip

Do not count the first impression...

This place has some rooms to rent and some place to stay as a camping. We stayed there two nights with our caravan. When we arrived there was no one to ask and the campsite looked abandoned. We placed the caravan and at first we thought there were no toilets. We made a mistake. Under the parking lot there were new toilets with hot water, and after a few hours the owners appeared, who were very kind and helpful. The camping is basic, but it is located in a very good place and it is perfect when you want to stay near Podgorica. In the camping there is a nice restaurant where we drank the coldest beer, one night we were tired by the day. (GPS 42.4836, 19.30621)

Great stay

We started for one night before going to albania. We had a great meal and a nice sleep in clean rooms. Nicolai helped us to make the transfer to albania and helped us over the border.
We recommend this hostel to everyone Passing by Podgorica.

Great place, cheap!

We were on our way to the sea, stopped here for the night, it was cheap, clean and comfortable. Forgot my documents there, they found them and kept them safe until I came back from the seaside! Also has WiFi

Perfect stop for the night

As our first stay during our roadtrip in Montenegro, hostel Izvor served us very well. Easy accomodation to find, typical and authentic place to stay & very friendly hosts. Their English is not very good, but we could ask everything we wanted. Also: stay and eat dinner in their restaurant, it's jummy!
