A fairly good find. A reasonably priced as we could find for a weekend. Close to Jewish ghetto area. Nice safe area with several restaurants around. Buffet breakfast was small be good.

The room was basic and dated but it was clean and tidy. The shower head had seen better days with a hole in the tube but it did the job. All in all a pleasant stay for two nights within reach of the town and the Tauron Arena where we were visiting for a concert. All in all cheap and cheerful and did the job

A very budget hotel.

Hotel Alf is a very budget hotel, so travellers who love comfort and cleanliness better bypass it. But for those who care about saving every zlotys, you're on the right track. For 137 PLN you will get a room with motorway windows and shared bathroom with two rooms. Credit must be given to the staff of the hotel who try to maintain cleanliness and hygiene as much as the allocated funds allow.

Hotel Alf

1 star for the bed and 1 star for the hot water. Otherwise the rest get 0 stars.
The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre, the Old Jewish Quarter and the metro.
The hotel itself seems more like a hostel, really loud, and many incredibly noisy guests, who are not done the least by the fact that young people run around on the hallways and shout and scream for each other and play who can crash on the radiator the highest and most times until late midnight.
In one of the other rooms we had rented there were no top mattresses, so you slept on top of the springs and it was not comfortable.
Breakfast could be purchased for 35 zloty, here you could choose between bread that had been baked the week before, semi hot yogurt and various instructions. In turn, their juice was 10 out of 10.
