Great budget accommodation

We booked through Booking.com and got a great rate for bed and breakfast (£68 ) Check in was friendly and our room in the Guest House (#4) was on the ground floor at the back of the building so it didn't suffer from any street noise. The room was more than adequate for our one night stay (to see a show) though the bed was a bit hard and the duvet slightly small. The bathroom was large and very clean, as was the bedroom. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and dishes were replenished frequently; it was amazing value for money. All the staff were friendly and helpful. For a budget hotel we couldn't fault it and would be happy to go back again if we were revisiting the city. We arrived in Glasgow by bus so we didn't need to find parking but be aware this seems to be a bit of a gripe from other guests.

Terrible mattress for 300 USD per night

Not great. Granted we booked late for August, but the 2nd mattress was terrible. Considering that we paid 300 usd per night, this was a problem. Please read other reviews before booking. Felt so bad for my son that I took the inferior bed both nights and suffered for it.
Also expect to hear street noise from the pub across the way if you have a room at the front.

Shocking place to stay

Thought was booking a hotel/inn as described as such. Street parking only which didn’t feel safe at all. The room had wind blowing through the closed windows and the dirt in the kitchen was awful, the grease on top of the cooker hood had its own dirt on dirt. It advertised as breakfast included they don’t tell you its cereal only or mentioned you have to to make it yourselves. For what I was charged over £200 it was not worth it. Only good if you are a football fan and attending rangers games as close to stadium. Neither owner or booking.com taking responsibility. Ended up leaving and had to book an actual hotel costing double as it was concert and football weekend. I booked this ages ago.

The single room was clean but on the small side. Perfectly fine for a short stay. Breakfast was good and varied. Would stay again

We appreciate the trash being taken out, tidying up the beds. We absolutely appreciate the breakfast service from Ashem (apologize if I misspelled) & Linda during our stay. Also, the iron was top tier that didn’t stain our clothes. All staff encounter were friendly & helpful.
