Great experience overall.
The location is perfect, pretty much at the center of the city. Easy to get anywhere. To the station, restaurant, shopping centre, and so on.
I got breakfast buffet included and the buffet has a quite good selection. Stuart, who manages breakfast, has been great, very friendly, accomodating, and would greet me every morning as i come to the breakfast hall.
The hotel room is clean and comfortable. Although, i can sometimes hear people slamming their doors outside from time to time, i still get to sleep peacefully.
One minor negative point from me is that I had asked the receptionist to do my laundry bag on my 2nd last night of my stay. But the laundry did not get sent out for cleaning. I only found out the next evening as i did not get my laundry back as it should have been 24 hrs turnaround. It was disappointing experience but luckily i still had spare clothes for my trip home. Receptionists apologised - but felt like they did not take this mistake seriously enough.
Overall, i would come back to the hotel if i am visiting Glasgow again.

Great place to stay when you visit Glasgow
Room is spacious, have the facilities necessary. One thing they need to improve is the housekeeping. They don’t refill the water, even when it’s so obvious that both water bottles are empty. And when I ask for a refill, I need to call numerous times.
Price wise, it’s very decent for a hotel located very central in city centre. It’s very reasonable price.
Don’t let the location turn you down if you’re worried about the noise level. Even though it’s in the middle of city centre, the room is very quiet.
Highlight of the stays: the parlour manager, Stuart.
He greeted us on the 2nd day we’re there. We’re so impressed. Such a personal touch.
The breakfast buffet is quite small but they have a decent variety. We ate 15 days, and we never bored.

A classic, slightly dated hotel with a very disappointing breakfast
The hotel has plenty of traditional English character, although some might simply describe it as a little dated. Our room was spacious and comfortable, if somewhat lacking in personality. Overall, it felt like a classic British hotel, complete with a charmingly slow lift.
The only real disappointment was the breakfast. It was unfortunately well below the standard of the rest of the hotel, and by our final morning we decided not to even bother going down again. The selection included overly salty machine coffee, basic fruit juices, overripe fruit salad, poor-quality yoghurt, and rather uninspiring bread. Even the bacon—a breakfast staple in the UK—was undercooked and disappointingly soft instead of crisp.
Our recommendation would simply be to skip the hotel breakfast and enjoy one of the many excellent cafés nearby instead.
