Very nice experience

Very nice hotel. Small and clean with nice and friendly personal. A very good hotel to visit the attractions around Hunedoara city: Deva fortress, Corvin Castle, Sarmizegetusa, Cincis lake. The restaurant is very nice and the food is tasty. Try tuna salad and coconut icecream in the coconut shell.

Very bad reception

It was a wedding when we came, we could not find a receptionist for an hour and the restaurant was closed because of the wedding. Also very noisy, they should let you know they are hosting a wedding prior booking.

Fair

Very helpful staff, people are nice and welcoming. The restaurant is good with very tasty food. The rooms are big and clean. Internet can work better but is good enough. Breakfast is not spectacular. Enough parking spaces, a gas station and a big supermarket very close.

Good hotel , Bad sleep quality

Stayed for two nights at the hotel. It is at the city entrance, at 10 minute from the Castle (by car) (~30 mins by foot). There is one shop near the hotel and a gas station. The hotel has free parking spaces.
The hotel is nicely decorated and quite clean. Room was clean and cozy, there were towels, a small fridge, hair dryer, clothes hangers.
Breakfast was ok, could be better, but was ok. Ate twice in the restaurant: the food was good, but i felt there was a big delay between servings. Also the house wine I ordered had a muddy pale yellowish colour and a funny taste.
The problem for me was the sleep quality. The rooms are not properly insulated so you can hear everything. I was woken up each night by noisy hotel clients who came back from the city (pubs) at 2 am (they talked too loud, they slammed doors and then talked too loud again). Even the toilet flush at 4am sounds too loud. The second night i was able to sleep only four hours.
All in all for me: good hotel, bad sleep quality.

I recommend it

The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant offers good food and the prices are also good.Near the hotel you can find a gas station and a Penny Market.
