Terrible experience – absolutely not recommended
The room had multiple serious problems. The air conditioning was not working properly and, even worse, water was leaking from it, creating what I considered a potentially dangerous electrical hazard. The windows were also blocked and could not be opened, so there was no proper way to ventilate the room.
The hygiene standards were equally unacceptable. The bed linen was stained, the toilet paper was stained, and I even found ants inside the food served at the hotel, including inside the honey. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel and raises serious concerns about basic hygiene and food safety.
I reported these problems during my stay, expecting the hotel to take responsibility and provide an appropriate solution. Instead, I was essentially told that if I did not want to deal with these problems, I should leave and go to the Grand Hotel. Imagine paying for a hotel and, when you complain about serious problems, being told to go somewhere else.
What makes the situation even worse is that, despite everything I experienced, I have been informed through Booking.com that the hotel does not intend to refund me.
I have photos and videos documenting all of these problems and have provided information about the situation to Booking.com. The evidence speaks for itself.
For me, this was not simply a case of a room being less comfortable than expected. It was a combination of poor maintenance, unacceptable hygiene conditions, safety concerns and an extremely disappointing response from the hotel when these issues were reported.
The Verdandi Hotel seriously needs to improve its standards. In its current state, based on my experience, I would strongly advise against staying here.

Dirty stains on the room
Our room was simply dirty. There were all these stains (with drops coming down) on the walls. The towel we got had another faded blood stain... and that for +€100 for one night.
There was no reception, only self check-inn. Immediately with this experience emailed and sent via Booking.com and a message, to no avail! In the morning we told our negative experience to the reception of breakfast. She just listened but didn't do anything or offer compensation.
